Limerick Flag Day, September 8th, 2009

Soweto Connection are holding a flag day in Limerick on Tuesday September 8th.

On that day Ireland and South Africa will meet in an international soccer match in the city; expect to see a large number of volunteers collecting on the streets throughout the day if you are going to the match. And please give generously!

The money raised will go towards building a new nutrition centre in the Khayelitsha township outside Cape Town. To help build this Centre, oarsman Sean McGowan will row singlehandedly across the Atlantic Ocean, starting on December 6th.
