Donating

Soweto Connection is approved for the scheme of tax relief on donations to eligible charites in Ireland

If you are a PAYE taxpayer and you donate more than €250 in the year (lump sum or in a number of instalments) we can increase the donation by the amount of tax you pay. Simply download this form, fill it in, and return it to us by post. At the end of the year we can then claim back tax on the donation and this will effectively gross your donation up by 20% or 41% (depending on the rate of tax you pay).

If you self-employed or a company, then you can claim tax relief directly on donations of €250 or more.

All donations are gratefully received by Soweto Connection, and in all cases the full amount is passed on to one of our partners in South Africa.
