The Children of Philani's words of encouragement to Sean (translated into English): 

Shaun, we have heard that you are rowing across the ocean to raise money for Philani.

We are clapping our hands to encourage you.

We are marching along to give you strength to keep on rowing even when you are feeling tired.

We feel sad that there are times when things are hard for you, the weather cold and wet, the winds high, the seas rough and we cry for you in that misery – BOO-HOO-HOO.

But we know that there are also days that are bright and sunny and the wind is behind your back and you feel good – HA-HA-HA – and then we laugh with you.

We want to thank you for what you are doing for our people here in South Africa and wish you good speed and good weather for the journey still ahead of you.
