Irishman Sean McGowan is about to start his life's ambition to row single-handedly across the Atlantic Ocean. He hopes to raise enough money to help Soweto Connection build a brand new Nutrition and Education Centre in the township of Khayelitsha outside Cape Town.
By joining in our Shout Out To Sean appeal you or your school can help Sean and Soweto Connection build the Centre.
You can record a song, shout or message of encouragement to Sean. When you have, email it to us at sheila(at)sowetoconnection.org and we will send it to Sean as he rows across the ocean.

To help schools with their fundraising we have a specially designed Shout Out To Sean schools pack which you can download or order by post. This contains curriculum sheets suitable for all classes, information about Sean and Soweto Connection, fundraising ideas and a sponsorship card which can be photocopied.
